This September, Phitopolis made wellness part of our daily rhythm. From September 22 to 26, we held Wellness Week, a full lineup of activities designed to recharge our minds, bodies, and spirits while keeping our regular work moving forward.
From inspiring talks to creative sessions, workouts to mindful breaks, the week reminded us that wellness is not just about health. It is also about thriving together as a community.
Setting the Tone: Positivity and Hydration
The week began with Pass-the-Positive, company-wide activity that invited everyone to post uplifting quotes, compliments, and words of encouragement on our corkboard. By Friday, it had become a colorful wall of positivity, a true reflection of the supportive spirit at Phitopolis.
We also launched our Water Intake Program for the entire week with citrus and cucumber-infused water concoction to remind us that even small steps, like hydration, can make a big difference.
Day 1: Mind and Money Matters
Monday kicked off strong with two impactful sessions:
- Financial Wellness Seminar by BDO gave us strategies to invest smartly and plan for the future.
- Stress Management Talk by Maxicare offered practical tools to build resilience and nurture mental well-being.
Day 2: Creativity and Cardio
On Tuesday, we explored balance through both art and fitness:
- Life Insurance Session by FWD helped us better understand how to secure long-term financial health.
- Art for Well-being brought a calming painting session with music, where participants created pieces they could take home.
- Tabata Workout added an energizing exercise session that had everyone sweating, smiling, and feeling stronger.
Day 3: Midweek Boost
Wednesday carried on the momentum:
- Another Financial Wellness Seminar by BDO helped more colleagues sharpen their money management skills.
- Art for Well-being returned by popular demand, keeping creativity flowing.
- Our planned Jogging Session was postponed due to inclement weather, but the enthusiasm for future runs only grew.
Day 4: Rest and Recharge
Thursday was dedicated to relaxation. Employees lined up for a 15-minute massage that targeted the head, neck, shoulders, and hands, providing a much-welcomed pause from the busy week.
Day 5: A Mindful Friday
On Friday, we wrapped up Wellness Week with two refreshing activities:
- Friday Breakfast featuring yogurt topped with fresh fruits, the perfect fuel for a productive day.
- Yoga, a calming session that helped release stress, stretch our bodies, and close the week on a mindful note.
Phitopolis’ Wellness Week was not about stepping away from work, but about weaving wellness into our daily lives. Taking care of our health, finances, and mental well-being equips us to grow stronger as individuals and as a team.
As we return to our day-to-day work, we carry forward the positivity, resilience, and mindfulness this week instilled. Because when we take care of ourselves, we can take care of each other—and that’s what makes Phitopolis thrive.
