We celebrated our Christmas Party at Skinny Mike’s Restaurant and Sports Bar in BGC, Taguig, where we had tons of good food, drinks, and games. The event was also attended by our sister branch, Phitopolis North, who came all the way from Clark, Pampanga to celebrate this event.
This was a magical celebration indeed because we hadn’t seen each other in a long while due to working from home caused by the renovation of and migration to a new and larger office space.
The evening kicked off with a warm welcome from our Chief Technology Officer, Mark, who took a moment to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication throughout this fruitful year. This was followed by the last spotlight meeting of the year, where each team leader publicly lauded individual and team accomplishments. It was a great way to start the evening, setting the tone of appreciation and celebration for the rest of the night.
What’s a holiday party without delicious food and drinks? Our team was treated to a savory and mouthwatering buffet, which included picadillo, buffalo wings, a cream Dori Fillet, beef stroganoff, and the most anticipated food for the night, a large roasted lechon. There was also an open bar for anyone interested in drinks.
After dinner, there was a brief intermission by the batch 2025 graduate program trainees, who showed off their killer dance moves, followed by fun games prepared by the HR/Admin Team. The game included Who Am I (Pinoy Henyo) and Charades. Everyone participated and gave it their all, not only for the prizes but more so for the laughter and enjoyment. In between the games, people participated in several exciting raffles. They got to take home prizes ranging from common grocery items to lavish appliances such as an air fryer and an electric stove. The company also awarded people with the most Phitopolis Points—people who went over and beyond besides work to improve the community.
The evening concluded with a group of satisfied guests, smiling faces, and memories we’ll cherish for years to come. A heartfelt thanks to Mark and the HR/Admin Team for organizing such a fantastic event and to everyone who attended and helped make the night unforgettable.
