This year marked the beginning of training new members for the Data Operations team. A key priority has been to focus on developing and strengthening the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to provide a solid foundation for Data Operations moving forward.
In October, we traveled to Boomering in Clark, Pampanga to meet with our Service Desk Engineers and assist them in onboarding for DataOps tasks. The Service Desk, which is an extension of the DevOps team in Phitopolis North, plays a crucial role in ensuring that all alerts are escalated to DevOps in a timely manner. Given the expanding scope of DataOps responsibilities, training additional staff became essential to meet the increasing demands. As Phitopolis continues to grow, fostering innovation remains a central focus.
Despite the long hours of training, we managed to carve out time for some much-needed socializing. What better way to do that than by sharing a meal together? There’s something special about stepping away from our screens for a moment to reconnect with colleagues and enjoy each other’s company.
