This year, Phitopolis had the perfect way to beat the summer heat, and it wasn\u2019t just about escaping the city. Our outing took us to Floating Sanctuary in Santa Maria, Bulacan, where we could unwind, bond, and enjoy the great outdoors with our colleagues. The setting couldn\u2019t have been more ideal: peaceful, refreshing, and full of good vibes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our day kicked off with everyone pitching in to set the tone for a fantastic time. Different committees took charge of everything, from grilling sizzling food to prepping fresh fruits, cold drinks, and, of course, our DIY <\/span>Halo-Halo<\/span><\/i> station. It was a fun twist on the classic Filipino dessert, allowing everyone to create their own sweet combinations, layered with colorful ingredients and topped with shaved ice and milk. And who could resist the <\/span>sorbetes<\/span><\/i>? With flavors like cheese and avocado, they were an instant hit and definitely something we\u2019ll <\/span>remember.<\/span><\/p>\n

The energy really picked up when we dove into the games. Employees from Phitopolis North and other teams were mixed together, sparking new friendships and team dynamics. We kicked things off with the <\/span>Watermelon Wipeout<\/span><\/i>, where pairs raced to finish a watermelon\u2014one eating, the other blindfolded and holding it. Then came the <\/span>Sponge Relay Splash<\/span><\/i>, leaving everyone soaked, laughing, and ready for more. We wrapped it up with the <\/span>Great Cup Carry<\/span><\/i>, a true test of speed and coordination.<\/span><\/p>\n

Between all the laughter and competition, we took a moment to recognize the talent within our teams. The winners of this year\u2019s Datathon were celebrated for their innovations and strategic thinking, showcasing their creativity and analytical thinking. Our Spotlight Meeting also shined a light on individuals who\u2019ve gone above and beyond, celebrating those whose dedication has made a meaningful impact over the past few months.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amidst all the fun and friendly competition, the day still had plenty to offer. We gathered around the tables to enjoy good food, ice-cold drinks, and laid-back conversations. Whether by the grill, in the pool, or simply soaking up the relaxed vibe, everyone found a way to recharge and connect. And if you were up for more excitement, the resort offered plenty\u2014basketball, fishing, or just unwinding by the water. Whatever your mood, there was something for everyone to enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n

By the end of the day, we left Floating Sanctuary feeling refreshed, recharged, and reminded of what makes Phitopolis such a special place to work. It wasn\u2019t just about the fun and games; it was about the chance to come together, celebrate our successes, and take a breather before diving back into the grind.<\/span><\/p>\n
