If summer had a personality, ours would definitely be that one friend who is loud, game for anything, always hungry, and somehow still full of energy after everything. This year’s Phitopolis Summer Outing brought that vibe to life as we headed to Hannah’s Garden in Calamba, Laguna, a place that quickly became our playground for the day.

We arrived bright-eyed, some more awake than others, and started things right with breakfast. Between bites and morning chatter, the excitement built as everyone settled in and explored the place, ready for whatever the day had in store.

Game mode was activated soon after. Human Bingo got everyone moving and mingling, while Guess the Rule in the swimming pool brought equal parts confusion, strategy, and laughter. Then came the Melona Contest, where participants raced to finish their ice cream the fastest, battling brain freeze for ultimate bragging rights.

While the games kept everyone busy, our committee and Kuyas worked hard behind the scenes. Right after, we were welcomed by tables full of food that made every bit of effort worth it. Conversations flowed easily, turning a simple meal into one of the day’s best moments.

With full stomachs, the afternoon opened up to more fun. Some went for basketball, others for table tennis and billiards, while a few took over the KTV room and sang their hearts out. Everyone found their own way to enjoy the space and the moment.

As the day wrapped up, we left with more than just tired feet and full stomachs. It was a day filled with laughter, friendly competition, and moments that brought everyone closer. Hannah’s Garden gave us the space, but it was the energy and connection of the team that truly made it memorable.
